10 activities in the UAE that aims to aid Typhoon Haiyan victims

-

You must have already seen the horrific wreck and havoc done by Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda to the Central Philippine Islands. Every photo and video is depressing, moving. Something that we only would expect to happen in movies.

Donations from individuals and government worldwide have poured in, UAE being one of the first to donate ($10 million).

We can as well donate, although being more involved in to some initiatives would contribute to giving our fellowmen a message of hope and inspiring and encouraging them to hold on, that life will continue, must continue despite all these.

We all are praying, now here are opportunities for us to act and reach out. Here are some charity and fundraising drives happening from this weekend and later. Let’s make a difference!

  1. We have some money collected from the company. How can we hand it over to you guys? Not sure if we'll be in the brunch for a cause

  2. If you will donate canned goods, please consider giving easy-to-open-lids because can openers or knives might not be available there. Limit the noodles as well for they might not have much source of water to cook them. High energy biscuits is the best
