Long weekend treats at The Green Planet

If you haven’t planned anything for the coming long weekend yet, here’s something worthy to consider. The Green Planet introduces “Nature’s Long Weekend,” a 3-part series of activities at the Middle East’s only indoor tropical rainforest destination.

From 29th September to 1st October 2023, visitors can immerse themselves in a world of natural wonders with engaging and educational activities, all included within their admission passes.  

Nature Talks at The Green Planet

When: 29th September, 12:30pm and 3:00pm

The weekend kicks off with ‘Nature Talks’ on Friday where visitors can enhance their knowledge about the 3,000 plants and animals that live inside this indoor rainforest. Visitors can learn directly from the resident biologists as they host insightful talks about the animals.

The Lemur training session at the Canopy is a must-see, where visitors can observe a 15-minute session with the Ring-tail and Black and White Lemurs and learn about their care and training programs from The Green Planet’s team of dedicated biologists.

Animal Encounters at The Green Planet

When: 30th September, 12:30pm and 3:00pm

Guests can get ready for ‘Animal Encounters’ on Saturday with a 15-minute interaction with the sloths. Visitors have the chance to get acquainted with and feed these fascinating creatures as they pass by.  

Family Entertainment

When: 1st October, 10am to 12pm, and 3pm to 6pm

Nature enthusiasts can enjoy ‘Family Entertainment’ on Sunday, indulging in animal-related crafting activities at The Green Planet Café – an ideal experience for the whole family to enjoy together.
