Asi Taulava and his NLEX Road Warriors side will be competing against perennial Middle East ball clubs in the invitational Dubai International Basketball Championship 2015. The tournament is scheduled from 14th to 25th January.
The Road Warriors will be bringing in NBA veteran Al Thornton who will also be their import in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
“It’s an invitation from the PBA. Parang international league yan. Invitational tournament, which sasalian nang ibang teams from other countries,” said coach Boyet Fernandez to Rappler.
Current NLEX roster also includes KG Canaleta, Mac Cardona, Enrico Villanueva and Aldrech Ramos and the promising rookies Juneric Baloria and Harold Arboleda among others.
