Why media in the Philippines blur brands on the background?

-

I’m not a Communication graduate, nor Journalism nor an Advertising professional. I am just sharing an observation… Why does Philippine TV blurs any brands which were ‘accidentally’ captured by their cameras? It is evident when they are soewhere with billboards in the background; or when a label of a product is in the frame (like Supermarkets). Foreign media never does that (Or I just haven’t seen yet?). And why is it also that they can’t mention brands and “proper names” when newscasting? Like they

Like: “Isang nakawan ang naganap sa isang SIKAT NA MALL sa Quezon City.” or “Hinihingan pa sa ngayon ng komento ang may-ari ng NASABING ENERGY DRINK.”
