Today, I want to celebrate and honor this amazing woman who has been with me for the past 15 years – my wife. Thank you for choosing me every day.
What I mean is… when she learns a new recipe, she wants me to be the first to try it. When she has a really good joke, she wants me to be the first to hear it. When she discovers a good therapy, she wants me to experience it first even though we know she needed it more than I do.
Also, when she catches a hot gossip, I’m always the first to know. 😉
She also makes it easy for me to choose her every day.
She’s the only one I want to bring to a new restaurant or to go on a food trip. When there’s a really good series on Netflix, I want to watch it with her. If I have a new plan, she’s the first one I want to discuss it with. Her words matter to me more than anyone else’s.
And when I have to make any decision, it’s not hard for me to say “Let me check with my wife first.” I just admire her God-given wisdom so much.
You see, love isn’t just about choosing someone on your wedding day; it’s about choosing them every single day, no matter what. And I feel blessed to have chosen Raqz as my wife.

We’re now crossing 15 and I will never grow tired of thanking you babe for simply being you. You’re the love of my life, my best friend, my partner in everything, and God’s constant reminder of His amazing grace. Choosing you every single day has been the best decision I’ve ever made. Our love has grown because of the choices we make to love, forgive, and support each other.
